Total Inferno vs Rampage
« on: March 21, 2007, 03:09:16 PM »
Help please. Have a 15.1lb Rampage, have been using for 3 months, have had finger pain and strain in shoulder to back muscles. Had the shop change the finger pitch and re-drill the thumb for easier release. Low-Med rev,15-16mph avg. speed. The finger pain from knuckle to tip is terrible, especially the ring finger. My friend rolls the TI @ 14.2lb and he loves it. I have had shoulder injury in the past but the most recent problems developed after I got the Rampage. Is it a drilling issue, weight issue, ect...?? I am considering the 14lb TI to see if I can get rid of the pain and try another ball but still want the hit. I bowl 10-20 games a week 6mo a year and every other week the other 6mo. Hope all this info helps as I need relief.

Learn to bowl with the other hand?

Sounds like either you have a real injury or your ball is drilled bad.

Does anyone have any good ideas here. Was hoping for a little more help. Someone has to have had some of the same problems.

Had the ball checked today by another proshop and he could see nothing out of wack. He did say my ring finger is short and that my span looks ok but obviously still having pain. Is lower wieght the solution?

I'd try using vacu-inserts and using more reverse in the fingers. The softer feel in the fingers should alleviate the pain.

If you're using power lifts, then stop.
