What's going to be new at Bowl Expo?
« on: June 08, 2012, 10:49:49 AM »
What does everybody expect/think is coming from the Big B at Bowl Expo? What is your expectations, or what would you like to see? I would mind seeing the Versa-Max core on a coverstock similar to the Ulti-Max cover! I'd like something pearl with a higher diff and lower rg in a symmetrical core for a Loaded Revolver replacement! I curious to see what is going to replace the Revolver line, or if they are going to expand the Versa-Max line for it's replacement! Still waiting on my Slingshot with a different coverstock and if they'll replace the Avalanche urethane with another urethane ball! I use my two Versa-Max' the most, a pin up and pin down for most house and modified house shots!

The Brunswick Nexxxus f(P+S)  looks cool with the copper color. If you do a google search for it, it shows up for Buddies, but the link doesn't work. It says WWRD 8/8/12.

In a google search it showed up for Buddies, but the link didn't actually work. Search "Brunswick Nexxxus f(P+S)" it should be the first one you see.

The picture you can see here http://bowl.com/approvedballlist/

Edit: Brunswick and DV8 actually have all the new balls on their sites now.

I wonder why the new equipment isn't available until August 8 yet the new stuff from DV8 comes out July 25 ? Most leagues around here start mid August and that's not enough time to get a Nexxxus drilled up and test it out. I may be getting a Hell Raiser Terror instead.

We stagger our brand releases to keep separation between the 2 companies. The plan has been to release DV8 first, and follow up with Brunswick.

Japan? Korea?

Not available in the states. Cool color though, I've seen it in person. Maybe check ebay, but it may be impossible to come by.

Hey, Nick. Is the Nexxus f(P+R) Pearl an overseas release too? Ridiculous how much selection people over there get.

Bowling is a lot more popular overseas and all compaines have far more releases in those markets because they can support that much product. You can luck into overseas releases in the US through ebay and some distributors. Usually x-outs because its not worth shipping them overseas.

Now what would be great is if you were able to order overseas equipment direct from the manufacture. The market may not be as large but I think there are plenty of bowlers that would be interested enough to do so and the manufacture would save on shipping around the world. Even if it was done shipped to your local shop.
you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Yeah, man. I do remember one day seeing a Mission Super on eBay. Not sure if it's still there, though.
