Title: What surface is the Absolute out of box?

Just wondered what to do to take the Absolute back to out of box condition. Thanks!

220 sanded followed by bwick rough buff polish...

I got that one for a buddy of mine. Was that one single drill, stacked leverage?

Well, it's not.

Rough Buff is generally speaking a rubbing compund-type of liquid. It will smooth out that 220 grit CONSIDERABLY. The final finish is closer to 800-1000 grit and looks half way between a polish and a matte finish.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought visually 220 sounded extreme, but I figured the polish brought it up. Thanks guys!
