Python? I hope it still has the Rocket Core. One of my favorites in my Sidewinder...

I'm hoping for a weaker pearl to replace the Swarm...every other ball has to do with snakes, and this is a big bumblebee...KICK IT!!!

...and maybe with the N'Control Powerboost!!! That would be awesome!!!

no, just too strong. I liked the arsenal in the BVP line:

Rattler = Rampage
Copperhead = Nemesis/Wizard
Sidewinder = Ambush

AND....(*drum roll*)

Python = Punisher!!!

Just a pearl that is a step down would be great...the Rattler is a monster!!

I guess is could be Python = Mammoth, but ugh...

Rocket core with NControl, hmmm. Interesting.

I've loved every ball with the NControl coverstock (which is why I'm strongly considering grabbing a MoRich Sahara...) all the way back to the original Command Zone, so another ball with it would be money in my mind.

Exactly...I loved both my Command Zone and my Punisher...this would be a good way to get me to buy a ball...and make it bright green pearl!!!

Personally, I do not think that an N'Control coverstock type ball with a low RG core was a good combo. The stuff reacts pretty well to friction - add a rev-happy core, and you get lots of over/under problems. But with the Swarm core, this would be IMO a more effective combo - would be close to the Punisher, though, but that was/is the same with the Swarm and the Rampage.

We are not heading down that road making a ball to replace the Punisher type ball reaction. You will however really, really like the new ball in this price point based on what you're getting for your dollar. As technology continues to go forward, what once were peak priced balls are now finding their way down into midprice levels.

This summers releases have had more testing than any other balls we've made since I've been with Brunswick for nearly 6 years now. We realize we've had some pretty darn good ball reactions that should not go away, so you will see these eventually work their ways down the lines as we create new ball reactions at the top level.

So what you all are saying is that I should hold on before picking up a ball or two. I am looking at updating my line up before the start of next season.

So basically what you're telling me is that you're going to be using high-end covers and cores, but because technology has "advanced" that this somehow makes them mid-priced balls?

I don't think that's quite what Robert meant.  When I read this...

...I thought of the Rattler, which is a ball that can be used by a wide variety of styles on many house-type conditions, and brought an Inferno-like reaction shape to a more moderate price point.  So I wouldn't quite give up hope just yet.
