Title: Which Brunswick Ball??
Post by: Rock77 on July 28, 2003, 06:50:32 PM
Which Brunswick ball would give me the same look as my old Zone Pro Azure?? The Azure is a 1" pin drilled under ring finger (RH), with the cg stacked directly below. I have it taken down with a green scotch brite. This ball moves like a dream but it is getting close to 300 games and may be looking to replace it soon. I want something that will react the same. Suggestions??

How am I supposed to knock all 10 down with one ball?!?

The Swamp Monster was recommended to me also and I bought
one but have never been satisfied with it. As a result the
Monster usually stays in the bag and I'm still using the
Zone Pro Azure most of the time. With the Monster, with a
very few exceptions, I have a problem getting it to finish.
I wouldn't recommend the Monster.

allengrace62, what is wrong with your swamp monster ? keep in mind this ball needs OIL---plenty of oil or it will hook and then quit. if you have slow ball speed, or a lack of side turn, or lack of oil, this could be causing your swamp monster to not roll to your satisfaction. try a different surface. have your pro shop smooth the surface with the cerium oxide trizact pad. you may need to polish it a little as well. good luck !

The main problem I have with the Monster is that if you
get a little speed on the ball, between 15 and 16 mph, it
just tends to skid all the way into the pins. It just
never turns over. I have changed the cover by scuffing it
and nothing seems to work. I could just be me and my game,
but, I have had very little success with the Swamp Monster.
