How about bringing back the asymmetric Zones ? I'd kill for a Vapor Zone reissue.
I haven't had a Brunswick ball I liked since the Inferno/Zone time period. I got the new Blue Flame .. great ball. It's Absolute Inferno revisited. That cover on the asymmetric Zone core could be quite nice.
They might even "convert" me back to the crown from the lightning bolt with a move like that !! ;D

I still have a NIB Vapor Zone, and 2 NIB Red Zones.
Thinking about drilling a Red Zone as a control piece for flying backends. (Should be mild enough for the new oils)

I want to see a .057 diff, .025+ int diff core in a rubber ball. For giggles make it 2 piece. Real retro meets the present. Could call it the Trojan Horse.

Red zone would back up on today’s oils.

Activator cover is no slouch. I don't care how old it is. I have an original Ultimate Inferno that has 1000+ games on it. I clean it every time i use it, maintain the surface, and regularly extract the oil. It still kills.
Is it the beast it was when new? no..... but I can make it the 1st ball out of the bag on any china shot if I want to.

This is exactly why I got a NIB Inferno (Original), Uranium, and Uranium Pearl sitting in my collection....excellent coverstock!

Same for the powerkoil 18 (edit: looks like Activator is a derivative, yeah learn something every day) on my 1000+ game Rampage. Still handles THS no problem.

The Red Zone was a good step down from the Power Grooves back in the day.

They need to bring back the entire Inferno line. Those balls were amazing.

Snap! I have loads of Activator NIBs; Original Inferno x 2, Absolute Inferno, Vapor Zone, Red Zone, PBA Inferno (Activator Max), Uranium Pearl, Dirty Bomb and Awesome Flip.
I still use my Zone Classic, Ultimate and Red Zone in league and tournaments (though I don’t bowl many tournaments these days), and I’m planning to use my Vapor / Absolute again in league soon.
RE: Red Zone, mine has had the polish taken off so it’s basically an Ultimate Inferno with asymmetric core, but with 2000-grit rather than 800.
Of the lot, I think the Zone Classic is my favourite. Wish I had bought another one or two NIBs then.
But yeah, Activator can’t do no wrong!
RE: Inferno line, the one ball that I didn’t like was the Total Inferno. Guess what? Not Activator cover!

I will take the uranium how much

I have been having success on the fresh shot with my very dependable Red Alert SE, and occasionally a MoRich Ravage. I am able to use these only because this one house puts down ample amount of oil. In most other houses, that PK18 overstock is way too strong to play the lanes with.
I also still use an old Demolition Zone as a step-down when the lanes get all chopped up.
