White Viz-A-Ball

i was wondering, if i were to draw on these as a spare ball, would the design come off? just curious.

My daughter used permanent markers to do her own design on a White Viz and then we spray coated it with a clear acrylic. The coating protected the design but is not legal for use in sanctioned competition.  Without the coating the
design deteriorated a little more with each shot.
