Question for BrunsNick - BlastZone Drilling thoughts
« on: March 18, 2008, 12:54:05 AM »
Wanted to get your thoughts on something.  Do you think it is possible to drill a Blast Zone, with a axis leverage drilling?  I have done it previously with symmetrical balls like the Fury's.  Just wondering if it can be done seeing that the Blast Zone is an asymmetrical ball.  Love to hear what you might think...

Why on earth would you drill an all ready early ball to be even earlier? Smooth is one thing, moreover, making a ball so smooth that it "pukes" in the back is beyond my comprehension.

Hey North...  Sorry about that I mean Axis leverage not pin axis.  I have a pin axis drilled ball and I know what you mean by "pukes".

I don't recommend it.

The mass bias is more important than the CG. Using an axis leverage layout, this may put the mass bias in an ill-location.
