Wicked Debut...783
« on: November 05, 2010, 05:28:21 AM »
This will be brief as I intend a more detailed review and video later.  Currently we're accumulating clips of the ball on various oil patterns, but thought the Big B world (and Brunsnick, who was so kind to select me) would like to know the new Wicked Siege got it's game on last night on the USBC White Patterns 41 foot version.  268, 299, 216 for a 783.

Highest set of the year so far.  The 299 was a pretty good game as far as strikes go.  The 12th ball was certainly a disappointment and not the balls fault by any means.  I must have yanked it about an arrow (or two, but whose counting) left of target.  Beaked it leaving a 4-pin.  No excuses.

Layout 55x4x40.

My official review.  Got enough games on it on a number of patterns verifying it's legitimacy as a great ball.

The ball has racked up another 299. This one I actually threw a decent 12th ball.  Thats the first time since 2002 or something that I've racked up multiple honor scores in the same year.  Never with the same ball though.

The Evil and Wicked have 2-299's and a 300 between them this year.  And I just threw an 11-in-a-row game yesterday with the Wicked sanded down to 2000 (big 4 in the 1st frame).  So that's four honor scores in one year.

Shot 764 yesterday.

Nice bowling. Keep those honor scores rolling!  I have had my Wicked Siege for 2 months now, and I really like the motion downlane.  The coverstock is smooth and doesn't grip too hard off of the friction.  I usually only have to move a few boards left all night using the Wicked Siege.
