Monday night league shot 300 with a WILD THING!!

Hey everyone just wanted to say that I bowled my second official 300 game this past Monday night in league with a Wild Thing.  I'm very happy not because it's another 300 game but it's my second within a years time.  Shot my first official last May and then this one in January. 
The best thing was this one was done in front of the whole league.  No one left early like last time, everyone stayed to see if I could do it again.  The night before league I had done some thumb work because it was a loose feel.  So I ran out of tape and tried a finger grip.  It worked great.  Putting a half cut finger grip in the thumb hole gave me a snug fit and a comfortable release.  Give it a try!!

Congratulations, but if you have enough room in your thumb hole for part of a finger insert, find another pro shop.  Unless you swell or shrink a ton, if you need 5+ pieces of tape, you'd be better off plugging the thumb and drilling the proper sized hole.

I'm curious, you say it's your 2nd official 300, but your profile says you have 4 300s in league play ????

my thanks goes out to everyone who has congratulated me on my 300 game.  My profile was wrong about how many 300's I have bowled.  But now I have fixed it.  it's 2 official and 2 in practice. 
The thumb hole was very large.  I received this ball from a deal done here on ball reviews and the thumb was big to begin with.  That's the reason I haven't  used it much.  By putting the finger insert in the hole made the feel great.  The tape would fall out because of the amount I had to use.  
I tried to post a picture but don't know how to.  If you would like a picture of what I did send over an email address and I will sent it.
