Squeaky wheel gets the grease?
« on: October 01, 2009, 10:00:29 PM »
For everyone who cries that the Lane#1 people cry to the moderator, it looks like the same happens for Brunswick.  Nick's 798/C System thread was 6+ pages of several people trying to act like certain people do in the Lane#1 forum.  I'm not sure when, but all the garbage posts have been removed.  Somehow I didn't hear all the complaints about too much moderation when it cleans up your forum.  This also happened a while back (Mike Koivuniemi post) when several people got way off track and were giving a lot of grief to Rico.

Personally, I'm glad to see absolute garbage removed no matter the forum.  But where are the people calling foul like they did when it help to clean up the Lane #1 forum?

The moderator(s) finally did their job, but I don''t know (nor do you) if it was as a result of someone''s complaint or if they found it on their own.

With that in mind, what''s the purpose of this thread?  Bored already on a Friday?

By the way, I don''t even visit the Lane #1 forum. I don''t have an axe to grind with any one company.  Anyone who likes to visit certain forums for the sole purpose of causing "trouble" needs to get a life. There are more important issues facing people and the world than "my bowling ball can kick your bowling ball''s butt."

+1  I agree 100 percent Lane, but there are certain people here on BR that have to be right all the time and have the last word no matter what.

thrownxs,

Like I said, There are more important issues facing people and the world than "my bowling ball can kick your bowling ball's butt."

I sincerely try not to get caught up in the negative side of internet forums. Thanks for your comment, though. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets tired of the continual bashing and 12 year old antics that get out of hand on occasion.

I guess I could have phrased it better.  I wasn't trying to take a shot at the normal people who post.  I was just trying to point out that inappropriate posts get removed all over, not just in the Lane #1 forum.  Since Nick's post was the one that was cleaned up and the fact that some of the pro Zoltan anti CG believers are the ones poluting the other forum regularily, I thought the Brunswick forum was appropriate.

If there is a post that you feel gets "out of line", I would suggest you ignore it and not add to it by posting to it yourself.

However, since you are one of the ones that endlessly keeps this kind of post alive in other places, I can't believe you you are supposedly taking offense to mine.

Since I don't want a 10 page urinating contest, I'm locking this now.
