Those are all a lot stronger than the Copperhead!

bowlingnut76, I would suggest a DV8 Marauder Madness for a benchmark first ball out of the bag. It has a solid coverstock and can handle medium oil patterns. If you are looking for a heavier oil ball, then i would suggest the Brunswick Aura because of the solid based coverstock. Both balls take well to surface changes and can be adjusted for a specific oil condition. The Marauder Madness will have a stronger response to friction, and the Aura has a smoother reaction overall for a stronger ball. I have not thrown the Aura Paranormal, but I have seen 2 of them this weekend and it is a lot stronger in the back part of the lane than the aura. Since you are looking for a replacement to the copperhead, I don't think that the Aura Paranormal would have a similar reaction. Good luck with your choice.

bowlingnut,

Not sure if you have another question, but the nightmare has a similar reaction to the Aura, but is a little stronger because of the 4000 out of box surface. The Aura is finished with rough buff and gets down the lane a little farther. I didn't get to see a Brutal Nightmare going down the lane yet, but it is supposed to be a little stronger on the backend than the Nightmare. If you can wait about a week, I should have my Brutal Nightmare and can give you more information. I did see 2 Aura Paranormals go down the lane and they are about 4 boards stronger when reaching the friction than the Aura. And, I should have my Aura Paranormal within 2 weeks.
