Control Zone????
« on: September 14, 2005, 04:07:28 PM »
What was the green pearl reactive Zone from around 1998 or so?  Wasn't that a Control Zone?  Control Zone description here says it was navy, the one I'm thinking of is dark green.

Thanks in advance!

Control Zone was around 2000.  Green pearl!  I have one!

Combat Zone pearl was green pearl also...closer to 97 and 98.

Yup, Control Zone had a coverstock called N control...not N control powerstock.  Was a dark forest green.  Command Zone pearl was closer to a pea green color!
I think that was a powersurge pearl.

N control Was considered to be too weak by many users!

PS I"ve seen some work really well played straight down the boards.  Big backend if dry was found and lots of flare!!!!

I have a NIB Control Zone which I will drill up when (if) I get back into bowling again.  I loved this ball back when it first came out and I can't wait to throw it again.

Mis spoke.  Was talking about other green one in post above....

The Combat Zone pearl.  Never even thought command zone which WAS purple but I did type it!

Yes, Command Zone purple was stronger...n control Powerstock.

Control zone weaker...just n control!

I got a 16lb control zone in the garage, it's got maybe 5 games.  30 bucks shipped if anyone wants it.
