Just as the subject states..

What current Brunswick ball is closest in reaction to one?

Well, it won't be current until next Monday, but my vote goes to the Wild Ride.  It has a *very* similar reaction shape, but is a bit cleaner through the front part of the lane than the original Classic was.

hmmm.. I thought it is similar to Vapor, not Classic.

Classic Zone and Original Inferno were like symmetric-asymmetric counterpart of each other with similar reaction as were Vapor and Absolute.. (asymmetrics were sharper down the lane and gave more drilling options ofcourse..)

If I were to replace my Classic, I would probably try Rattler.

Well, in the hands of some, perhaps...but I've thrown the Wild Ride at two different centers, and it looks much more like a Zone Classic reaction shape to me.

IME the Vapor started quicker, and had an "inside limitation" that the Classic didn't share  the Wild Ride doesn't exhibit it, either.

However, as with all things in bowling, your mileage may vary...

I will have to agree with Salas here.  Especially because the Wild Ride is the asymetrical of the two.  I do see what you are talking about Burak, with the Vapor/Absolute Comparison, and the Wild Ride/Rattler is very similar to that combo being they give "similar" reactions but one is asymetrical and one is symetrical.  So with the Classic being asymetrical the Wild Ride is probably going to be your closer choice

Thank you for the help, guys! The Wild Ride looks like quite a "ride".. I may have to purchase this ball in the near, near future, for my first BigB, since the disappointing Fury!
