Zone Classic (red-pin) Activator Coverstock ?
« on: October 20, 2009, 04:35:34 PM »
The only description I see is for the original green pin.  Does the red pin have Activator coverstock too ?

Yes, the only difference is the red pin's are the ball's that cured too fast causing the coverstock to be a little harder then originally planned. They hook less then the Green Pin's. I've heard as much as 4-6 board's less. I've alway's wanted both pin's but never could afford to buy 2 ball's at 1 time. Made for a great 1-2 punch in the bag.

Thanks for the reply.
I was looking for something for mediums, and a little earlier and stronger than my original inferno drilled negative pin (~1 inch above middle finger). Do you think the red-pin would work for that, with a stronger drilling and modified surface prep ?  My trouble is I already bought the ball not knowing there was a difference between the two pins.
