Brunswick Light Oil Ball

Hello, I need your help I bowl with a ultimate inferno and a inferno and love both of these excellent balls. I need a Brunswick Dry/Light oil ball for my Late night Sunday League where the lanes are fried by the second game. (I can not move any further Left) What have you had good luck with??? My Track Dry Heat with delay polish is way too much ball.

Mention the word dry and Brunswick and in the current lexicon, you have to think SlaY/R. However, for true DRY, you may need pearl urethane or plastic.

Beware though, if its a slay/r, you may want to drill it fairly mild. Mine was pretty freakin snappy and strong! power grooves, slay/r, punisher, maybe even a urethane groove.

I just picked up the Blazing Inferno Hard  .  Stand left (33), throw right (12-5) and watch it come back.  Shell is harder than the Original Blazing Inferno, and thus, the length is better.  In my wood house on Thursdays, any oil is gone by the 5th frame of game 1.  Had games of 166 & 192, after averaging 149 with my Particles.

Bowling kid,

I still wonder about that. My Slay/R is drilled 5x5, but with pin under the bridge center. I've used it on everything from PBA patterns, dry-ish (medium-light & light oils) and what I regard as true medium-heavy, and I can't get it to flip or act slightly skid/flippy. Could you just have hit the right combo or drilling and oil pattern for your release to get it to move like that?

I can see that a "pin over the bridge, with the CG kicked out slightly" (5.5"x4") type of drilling might get a more skid/flip reaction. Try what I did next time (f there is a next time); it is so smooth and even, I love it. (Recently a Blue Gryphon drilled 5.5"x4" was so skid/flippy everywhere; I had to get rid of it.)

I throw a Punisher and I love it.  But I don't think it would be a good "fried" lane ball.  If price is of no concern to you, then a Lane #1 Buzzsaw XXXL is a good one......but $$$$

Mine has a really long pin to start with, close to 5 inches, pin like 2-2.5 inches out at about 1:30 (in regard to the ring finger) cg in palm. I have a lot of side roll, so with that drilling, the side roll, decent amount of revs, and not a whole lot of speed (around 15-16), and pretty good backends, it turns hard. I think it has more to do w/ my speed/rev ratio.
