Hi, I'm in the market for a ball to cover a med/heavy blend w/carrydown.
I would like soemthing that allows me to play in the oil inside of the track area. Do you think the Impulse zone is my answer and could you suggest some drillings. I'm thinking of a length or mid lane drilling since Big B stuff tends to roll very early for me.

I'm a med. speed stroker/tweener with med to low axis tilt.
My pap is 4-1/2" over, 1/2" up

the best ball i have ever had with that kind of oil pattern was the icon 2. i know its not a new release and that it will be hard to find and that its not brunswick, but it is really the only ball ive seen that can take care of the carrydown time after time. other than that its hit and miss with a bruns ball or any other company for that matter.

Yeah, I was thinking stacked basically.
Am I correct though thinking that I should keep the psa closer to the thumb so that it doesn't roll too early?

I have two impulse zones one pin under ring cg kicked right 5 x 3 area with the psa on the val, it rolls fast and is a very good with some head oil. I also a have a stacked drilled 4 x4 with the psa next to the thumb goes about 3 feet longer makes a harder move to the hole. Both hook alot but the stacked does go alittle farther and requires oil to not burn up in box finish.

My PAP is 4 1/2 over 1/2 up. The Pin is under the RF and the PSA is about 1" to the right of a line drawn straight down from the Pin. (Approx 70 degreed) Weight hole is on the VAL. This ball hooks big and from anywhere for me, even when thrown out way out too far, and for me it never quits or rolls out. Cover is very verstile. Can be sanded or polished. I sanded mine to 400-600 with a Scotchbrite pad to remove the Brunswick Factory Gloss Polish as it is too high gloss for this old man without much hand. I then repolished it first with Columbia 2000 grit polish and really burned it in hard and then just a teeny bit of Storm Xtra Shine over that, again burned in. Final coat was water really burned in hard.

Thanks for the info guys. Maybe I should go for the med-dry or dry drilling then. I could always dull it a bit if it doesn't roll soon enough.
