Personally, I have numerous pieces of Big B equipment.  I think the Zone Classic might be the most versatile.  In that I mean it should be used to cover the most amount of conditions, from medium-light to medium-heavy.  The Activator coverstock is, without question, the most versatile wrapper on the market.  At this point, you'll have to pry my Absolute from my cold, dead hands.  The ball is sensational.

The Intense, is by far, the most condition specific ball Brunswick has. (they dont have many) It either works really well, or doesn't work worth a hoot. IMO thats how it is anyways.

Swamp Monster, Goliath, Ultimate Inferno.  Those three pills are gonna be used by most bowlers with oil, oil, and oil.  Or, coverstock altreations will be required.  I didn't exactly resurface my II, but I made this ball a virtual twin to my Absolute and implemented the ****1 drilling.

I threw my Intense in box condition on and off for about six months, and found it to be rather touchy, especially when the pattern was longer or there was some push down the lane.  On the advice of Brunswick (thanks again, BrunsRicH!), I scuffed it to 1200, and the difference was night and day.  The surface adjustment evened out the reaction, and made it much more predictable without sacrificing any of the hit or carry that I had before.

As the Brunswick guys would say, surface first!

I love this ball, Bowled a 300 with it and as of now, it is the first ball out of the bag. It isn't that condition specific with me, only when the lanes are a little dry because I drilled it a little aggresive.

LoudstrikerXXX, you dont know how condition specific it is because you dont have any other ball to compare it too. Once you try the AI, I reckon, that'll be the first outta your bag. Hopefully more 300's to come out of the AI.

i have an intense inferno and the way i have it drilled (i really have no clue i'm only 16) is not impressing me when it comes down to heavy oil but when it gets a little dry thats the ball i go to i'll probubly have it sanded dull to get more reaction for heavy oil cuz i already have a ball for medium to dry oil, a track triton elete that i bowled a 299 with

i could use the absolute on almost any condition...the ultimate i could play almost anyway, and the inferno was the best ball that i could polish or dull to fit the lane at the time...well the intese wasnt anything like that. in fact the only time i remember this ball working was um....never

The II is a MONSTER given the proper surface. Right now mine is at a wet/sand 1000 grit, and it is far superior to the box finish. Gives me a look a few feet longer than the AI when that's required.

I'd say i've found it to be my favorite piece, and even most versatile.  Obviously its a matter of matching the bowling style with the layout.  Mine was drilled @ 5x5, pin 4 inches above my midline, with a small hole on my axis line bringing it to 0 side weight.  I used the ball on PBA patterns E, B, C, and A, and ended up averaging around 209 for the PBA league I was in last summer.  I was able to square up more on the longer pattern (B) and create the angle to carry, and obviously I could get in deeper on C and A and hookit, and I could play the gutter on E, rollout magic.  I shot over 600 on all 4 of the mentioned patterns, with E being the fave @ 783.  I'm probably the only person on the planet that loves the ball this much, but alas, ugly balls need love too.
