Zone Classic Red Pin
« on: June 16, 2007, 02:10:24 PM »
How did you guys lay up your ZC red pins? I have pin drilled at about a 3 - 3 1/2" pin. It has nothing on the backend when it's dry.. a very fugly reaction. How did you guys lay yours up and what kinds of reactions are you getting?

Mine has the pin directly to the right of the ring finger and MB just below the thumb, making it about a 4.5" by 5" layout. No extra hole needed.

Great ball on short patterns and/or flying back ends. Suprisingly versatile from various angles. I get a strong arc reaction.

A rare ball by today's standards: weak coverstock with a strong asymetrical core.

Mine looks similar ( pin to the right of the ring ) but I guess i have a lower track than you. Inside the ball does fine but if i swing it at all it has no recovery and if I go up the boards outside it just doesn't get there.
