Title: Zone Classic... Still MONEY!
Post by: BrunsNick on March 12, 2005, 01:21:48 PM

Started off +87 after 4, dropped to +33 after 8 today on Pattern C here in Phoenix, transition got plain ugly!  Absolutes were too strong, too early. Classics were right on the money! (I only brought 4 bowling balls with me)

I'm going to be a force to be reckoned with tomorrow morning, I just have to get loose and get the sick voodoo roll going. I should be sitting right close to the top 16, keep an eye out for this handsome beast.

Here are the results:

Damn, Chris Webber's in second place.  He can ball and bowl!

Knowing him, he'll probably call for re-rack once too many at matchplay.

All the best on Sunday Nick.

Went to +51, 16th was +10.

Kind of brutal today, used the Rico Classic early on until it checked, then switched to the other Classic.

Cut dropped, wish me luck in matchplay!

I'm home now, made round of 16 and bleh. Creating hold in the middle was crucial, and I just wasn't able to. Should have won the 3rd game of MP, but a 4-9 in the 10th working on a double squashed that idea.

Next regional isn't until early May, grr.

WOW, I struggle to believe that a guy like you shot 157, must be real tough!

Good job Nick, knock them dead next time!

Nick, just to be fair to your Brunswick buddies, you should post how you bowled (what you used and why) for every Regional, not just the ones you make the cut and finals in. Granted you did bowl very well this time, but just as much can be learned from bad outings as good ones.

I'm glad we have a month off before Hawaii, having to shoot 270+ two weeks in a row just to get a check has made my hair turn gray. ......See ya Monday at Del Crappo.

Nick,

Those 4-9's jump up at the wrong time and wrong places.  Good shooting buddy... Hey May will be right around the corner...  GOOD LUCK...

Can you read that says points, winnings is left of that number.  He got $600 if I am not mistaken.

I could write a book on the last year of bowling from my bad outings and what I learned from them. Hell, not one, but 2 grip changes, a ball weight drop, more compact form. Just been trying to downshift my game, and it has been working lately.

Cashed in 4 of the last 6 events, w0000t.

No, and no.

Wristband is more like a forearm band for me, and hats are not allowed.
