A polish.  Brunswick Factory Finish Rough Buff, to be specific.

This topic has been covered a bazallion times.... its a polish application that will be destributed by bwick later this month or early next month.

It does not effect the grit finish of the ball, some one called it a "grit filler".  So if you wanna do surface changed, do so with a schotchbirte or abrasive of choice, and THEN add the rough bough finish.
