Post by: Next Level PS on December 25, 2004, 02:31:00 AM
Time Zone VS Intense Inferno

Warp Zone VS Raging Inferno

Zone Classic VS Inferno

Impulse Zone VS Ultimate Inferno

Are we getting more for our money with the Zone series? same covers with stronger cores designs?
by the way te Impulse zone is awesome.

I had the TZ, drilled 4.5" p2p, pin under fingers, mb on val.  Kinda of a hookset reaction for me.  Very, very archy.  The Intense was good too, 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 pin below fingers.  Another archy ball.  I liked the intense alittle better...but I believe with similar drill patterns they would be close.

The ZC interested me until I read that it is the OI cover.  I have the OI, and decided that I didn't need the ZC.  Seems to me they would be similar.

Can't comment on the others.

The Time Zone hit a bit TOO hard for me.  It didn't keep the pins low, everything flew around in the air and landed.  Maybe because the ball wanted to kick so hard out of the dry.  There was plenty of times I'd flush the hole and the 4 pin would jump over the top of the 7 pin, or I'd leave a wrap ten and the messenger would fly over and miss in front of it.

Brunsrich since it sounds like you work for Brunswick. I have been tell customers that the PK18 is overall stonger than the Activator cover is this true.

P.S
call Rick Beniont and tell him to get back on the site we miss him. His Screen name i think was BrunsRick.

i have had the most versatility with my ultimate infernos than any other brunswick ball i have thrown. dull or shiny they roll good. if i had to keep a brunswick ball in my bag at all times..  the ultimate.

im trying different things now, but will keep the 2 ultimates i have for a rainy day.

BrunsRicH, I'm 200 Ultimate inferno deep in the last year and half. With all this behind the scene "beef". You should call Larry V and Billy O and hook me up with a ball deal at least a comp sometimes. But it's all good ....Darkside to the day I die.....Storm too

never support a company that chooses a bowler for their sales in a proshop and forum postings over his ability to bowl well on tour to promote their balls.

Paul,

I see your point, by all indications your a good bowler.  I understand you feel as if you are JUST AS deserving as Nick.  Other members seem to think you feel that you are more deserving, I hope this isn't the case.  There are better ways to get your point across than in a public forum, where you are likely to find little sympathy from people on this site.

Best luck to you, hope it all works out for you.  There are just better ways man...

Anyone who has ever served in the military knows the most deserving person doesn't always get the awards and thanks they deserve.  This is not to discredit Nick or yourself.

Thanks
Andrew

DAMN, I started a quality post about two ball lines that are EXCELLENT in performance and durability. than you guys come on the freakin post and start this B.S You could of started this "ball for lousy lanes" or the Lane1 section. Look of what he have done today, we lost a ball rep on the forum and to say the least we are beefing on chrismas day. I'm leaving for the family house when I get back I'm deleting the post.

Enjoy whats left of the day.

Next Level, I've heard about this Impulse Zone being awesome from more than one person. I am going to get a new ball within the next week, two at the most. I'm looking at 3 balls. The Impulse Zone is the leader on my list an is probably the way I will go.

just my  opinion:

Zone Classic VS Intense Inferno
Impulse Zone  VS Raging Inferno
Time Zone VS Inferno
Warp Zone VS  Ultimate Inferno

is a close match up to how they fit in ball reaction.

That was more along the lines of what I was thinking. It's a much closer set of match-ups, except for the Time Zone - Inferno, but I think the others are VERY close.
