"login required" errors

From one of the home computers, I am unable to log in.  It continually bounces me back to a "login required" screen.  Password and username are obviously correct as they are the same as I use on the office computers.  It is not a cookie issue because those have been cleared and the problem persists. 

 

Suggestions on what else to try?

Michelle, you might want to supply the operating system and browser used.  Did you try clearing the browser's cache?

yeah, forgot about OS/browser...

 

primary home unit is running XP with SP3 and I am saddled with Exploder since my Netscape browser quit functioning some months back.  I think it is IE8 although it could still be rocking IE7 (I am not a fan of newer versions of Gates' bloatware).   

 

Office logins are generally on a desktop box running Vista with SP2 (not by choice...it was just difficult to find anything with XP when I needed a new one).

You might also want to try deleting your cookies on the computer that is having the problems.
 
1.  Delete cookies
2.  Close all browsers
3.  Open browser and retry.

have tried all of that...still no joy. 

 

The irony is that if I try to deliberately munge the log-in info, it gives me a screen that there was a mismatch and to try again.  However, if I put the information in correctly, it goes to a "Login Required" error message.
