Do our posts go to top of list if we bump?

Just checking to see if our posts move back up to the top of the list per category when it is posted to? LMK

All topics are sorted by the order of last post so after a topic is posted on by a bump or by someone posting, it is moved to the top of that category.

I'm not seeing that when I bump my own topic. If I post on another's topic it shows, but not my own.

Where are you seeing that the topic hasn't moved? Looking at:

the most recent post I see is one that was bumped.

I just bumped the post I STARTED in the Storm For Sale Forum and it is not listed as the most recent posting on the Home page. Did you start the one that you replied to?

That's probably the point.  If the front page were nothing but posts for people selling or buying things (most of which are "bumps" ), it might make new people think that's all the site was about.  The idea of a bump is to keep the topic active withing the intended forum, not the front page.  People buying/selling things know where to go; it doesn't need to be splashed on the front page.  Over and over, and over, and...
