Serious Lag

To the Mods:  lately, when I click on a forum name (ie: Storm FS/FT), the site has been hanging up on me.  I try to stop and reload it, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.  I'm not sure if it's me or you, but I figure I'd let you guys know.

Steve,
I noticed that since they started posting advertising in the lower left hand corner, some of them do take much longer than it used to, to load the entire screen. The screen seems to wait on those specific urls. I get that message.

I noticed that a while back as well and have managed to find a solution that keeps pages here loading like they used to before the ads.

It''s also helpful for avoiding known hacked sites...

Beef up your HOST file with one from a service like MVPS - http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Keeps you from navigating to a lot of nasty places...
