well folks i hate to do this but i recently had bad experience and ive heard  nothing but praise for him. recently he agreed to a trade for a nighthawk pearl
and i agreed too. got his ball all boxed up. 2 days later he messages me says
NO deal, the ball is on its way to colorado as someone else already agreed to pay shipping and give me 2 for 1. i just feel this is bad trade practices and should not be praised in any way, any input would be fine. i just feel a deal should be a deal.

Dude, seriously calm down.

The deal is done.  You aren't getting what you thought, and will not be getting it.  Understand this.  Life isn't fair, and it never will be.  You can work hard your entire life, and never get promoted because of butt-kissers.  Deal with it, really.

If you can say you wouldn't try and get a better deal, then you are crazy.  If I find a better deal, I will call off anything else I have going on, as long as no equipment has been shipped yet.

Cut your losses.  Your whining is not, and will not, get you anywhere.

Uhh, bowlingnut07 has/had a legitimate beef.  He posted the pm where the other person said, "COOL IT'S A DEAL".  Then that person called to break the deal when he got a better offer.  He's letting everyone on these boards know if they deal with this guy, that something like has happened & be prepared if it happens to you.  Now the other guy, unless he had a legitimate excuse should have just let it go.  But he didn't, he came on & basically admitted what bowlingnut said actually happened.  But then that wasn't enough, he kept replying & told bowlingnut to quit whining.  To me, the guy looks even worse than if he had just said nothing or just left his original reply.  Now I sure as heck won't deal w/him or you after seeing these replies.  Have a good one.  Good luck bowlingnut07 & thanks for sharing the feedback.

If someone would agree to a deal with me and then not follow thru with the deal because a better deal came along, sorry, but he is on my black list, period..

Its not just business, its your word and that obviously doesn't mean much to some people..

. . . I agree. A deal is a deal.
. . . when you gave your word that it was a deal
. . . you should honor it even though a better offer comes later.
. . . just my .02

I don't agree that it is alright to do what Dyno did.  Your word is your bond, period.  I think once you say "lets do it" or whatever was said, it's like a reserve.  I don't think you can continue to auction it off for a better deal.. it's pretty much final after that.

But stuff happens.  I'm not making an excuse for anyone on here, but I'm just stating that I wouldn't black list someone for this kind of treatment.  I would let them know that it was completely unfair as a businessman and disrespectful to waste my time like that, but that's about as far as I would take it.  To each their own, though.

I had this exact situation last year.  I had a deal for a guy to buy a ball from me for $75 shipped.  Two days later, he tells me he isnt going to be able to do the deal.

Two days later, I got an offer for the ball for $60 shipped and decided to go ahead and sell it.  Told the guy I would get it out on monday.

Sunday morning, the original guy sends me a message that he got a bonus and wants to go ahead and get the ball.  What to do?

Told guy #1 that, when he told me he couldn't do the deal, I sold it to someone else.  Went ahead and sold it to guy #2 for the $60.

Guy #1 got p.o'd, but it wasn't my fault.  I gave my word in both cases and the result was just a twist of fate and bad luck.

If he had a deal fall through, then made another one with someone else, he should have honored the deal in progress and NOT the one who came running back, even if it was a better deal. He should have kept his word.

You had to do what you had to do when someone backs out and tells you they can not purchase it its not backing out you had to remedy the dead deal
