eolson78 - reconciled
« on: December 10, 2005, 02:24:16 PM »
This is a new seller on here and has posted a few rare balls on here recently (i,e., Turbo X, Hammers, Helix). I wanted to buy the Helix and he agreed that I could send half up front, and send the rest upon receipt. I sent out the MO a few days ago, and not far, so it should've arrived by now. I wrote to ask, and no reply for 2 days. Now this is his first deal and it hasn't been too long, but still, being a new seller, he needs to maintain communication on here and if you were thinking of buying from him, you may wanna hold off for now.

Yeah, so he said he shipped the ball parcel post, so no proof of shipment, and if something happens, no insurance, so this deal is all wrong. I just hope i see the ball, because i do have the info I need if I don't.

UPDATE_______________________
He wrote me today and let me know it was his brother using his SN on here. He refunded my $40 and did it very, very quickly through Western Union. Was very courteous and will not hold this against him.

scott, how did i not hold up on the deal? i made it very clear to everyone that shipping would be a problem for me because i went through a tough time. you said you were ok as long as i got it out soon. i gave you all the warnings i could and i did get the ball to you as soon as possible. and most importantly, i did keep cummunication. this guy is a con-artist and your post is quite irrelevant and i would appreciate it if you kept it to yourself next time. it kind of makes me wonder how long you have been waiting to throw this out there for everyone to see. i didn't know it upset you that bad. oh well, can't please everyone.

how did i not hold up on the deal?

Promised to ship on Wed and did not ship til two days later.  All, I am saying is that you are NOT a perfect seller/trade person either.

If you like I can post the PM's.  I prefer not to but again people in glass houses.

ON the other hand please show me I did NOT do exactly as I said I would?  Also, there are NO msgs from you that you were going thru a hard time.

Folks please don't go thru sales or trades if you do NOT intend on going thru with them....whether you have $ or not to ship balls or NOT......just say because of circumstances I can not do any deals right now.

Thanks!

Dude, seriously...get a grip. He took 2 days longer to ship. 99% of all Sellers/Buyers, HAVE ENOUGH COMMON SENSE to know that things happen.

I am sorry, if your parents failed to teach you this.

first off scott, stop with the whole "glass house" reference. it isn't as clever as you think, and second, your post is irrelevant to my post so keep it to yourself. if you want to post negative feedback for me, make your own post and keep it the heck off of mine. there is something a little more important going on right now than me shipping 2 days later, and i wish you were smart enough to see that, so don't even respond, start your own post.

I am going to alert his authorities and give the money order number and see what i can do about it. i don't even have paypal since they don't ever seem to help people get theie money back, so we'll see what i can do with the MO.

...and thanks brunsMAC

...and now that i think about it scott, really, how hard would it be for you to post just the ones that help your case and omi the ones that show you're wrong, so again, don't even bother.

Whatever....typical response from a "Me" generation immature youth.  I leave it at that.

Next time Josh pony up with the goods instead of going bowling league and entering side pot games.  Costs you $12 to ship a ball and you can't even afford that.  Sheesh is all I can say.

Unfortunately, it looks like he could have been "selling" on here to up his paypal account. Therefore being able to "buy" what he wanted on ebay. Hope he gets caught and punished soon.

It's done as far as I am concerned.  I am NO longer selling/trading anything on BR.  I'd rather give away my equipment.  Case closed.

side pots? when i made the deal with you, i wasn't even in the adult leagues. those YABA side pots aren't as expensive as you might think. nice analysis though. it might have worked if you knew what you were talking about.
