all i have to ask is if this is all nessesary i feel like noone is listening to what i post everyone will get there money back why do we have to keep this up.  you guys are getting any dime you spent back, and im not gonna deal on here anymore can we please just stop this all.  if you guys dont get your refund from paypal then post and bash me, but what seller do you know that wants to rip people off stays around and tells people to open a claim so he can escellate it to a faster claim so paypal will get you your money back in 10 days, the answer to that is non.  please as one person asking another stop all of this i am very sorry and untill you are for surtain your not getting your money back lets just talk privately i deleted my post of stuff for sale so there is no chance that i can sell anything, my name is nothing on here now and i know thats my fault, so no one will buy anything anyway.  so no one has anything to worry about.  if this is out of line to just post and let me know.

I am in the process of a 3 ball transaction with Adam which has been
paid in full.  He has been straight up and honest the whole time in
my transactions with him.

if he can do a deal with you from "the road" and being so busy. if he's so busy working why does he three new balls. i'm sure he has no time for bowling, with all the travel and work. then why can't he complete the other deals. have you got your money? i thought his account had a "freeze thing on it".

excuse you? you've been here for almost 2 years and have 16 posts, which means you're never on here and dont know who is trusted and who isnt. a lot of people here have dealt with hawk and have had good transactions with him.

i was a moderator at BBE when hawk was an admin (dont know if he still is, i dont really check in) and consider him to be a good guy to BS with and i've seen more great transactions than i can count between him and other users.

just because he doesnt have our money doesnt mean we cant comment. people who have deal with him and have positive information to report have a right to do so, thats why this forum is here. people who know and trust hawk also have a right to respond.

YOU, stso927, are clearly, based on your total number of posts in the almost 2 years you've been a member, are NEVER on this forum and have no clue as to how things are done here. i'm going to continue defending hawk until he gives me a reason not to, and YOU can go f**k yourself if you dont like it.

So he took the blame and is refunding your money. And you keep opening your mouth. God go back to Israel you penny pinching little douchebag

has he had your money for a month? he has had time to buy stuff from all-star joe. but all he has done is hang on to several hundred of our money for as long as he could. only when we threatened legal action did he start to get busy. there is still a chance we won't get our money.
if you think so highly of him. send me $135 and i will have him send my refund to you. so put up or shut up. or do you have no balls.

My dispute was escalated to a PayPal Claim by the seller (hawkeye4life), so it appears that he's doing what he can to refund our money from his frozen account.

No communications via BR.com, PayPal, or Email... But his 10 days are not up yet.

PayPal is saying it could take up to 30 days... But since Adam said 10, that's what I'm going by.

We'll see...

I also reported lane1who to the admins the second he posted that reply... But I haven't heard anything of it yet.

Adam sent me a couple PM's yesterday in response to this thread. One of them was to say that, "PayPal told me it would take 10 days, so that's why I said that... I can't be sure..."

The other said, "PayPal says that if I don't respond to you, then they will be FORCED to rule in your favor... I don't want them to rule in my favor for any reason."

So, he's still around and reading these posts. I suppose he has no control over PayPal's policy in this matter... But I'm still holding him to his 10-day mark.

Thought file claims were made at the earliest of the 6th. That would make tomorrow the 10 day mark.

PayPal's site says this for what it's worth:

quote:
Step 2 - Seller responds to claim (10 days)
The seller has 10 days to respond to the buyer's claim. PayPal will notify the buyer when the seller has responded. If the seller chooses not to respond, the buyer's claim will be granted.

Please keep in mind that active participation is essential to the claims process. Prompt communication helps us manage claims efficiently and fairly.

Well, I received this from PayPal just now:

quote:
After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal.

It seems Paypal ruled in my favor, however they could not recover any funds.  I e-mailed him telling him that I want a money order mailed to me within 48 hours or I'm filing charges against him.  I will follow this thru until I get my money.  If anyone knows his address please e-mail it to me at mattgabb@comcast.net.  I will get my money one way or another and if your one of his friends keep your friggin mouth shut because I do not want to here you stick up for him. 48 hours from now I better have a money order sitting in my hand, period.  And trust me I'm not some little punk snot nose kid who makes promises and doesn't follow thru.

Ok, not being a smart a** or sticking up for Adam, but stop and think about what you just said...Unless you live relatively close to him, you know snail mail takes more than a day or two.  Again, I am not trying to be a smart a**, just trying to point something out.

Thats why I told him specifically in the e-mail to overnight it.  I believe with all the crap he has caused, it is the least he could do.  If he mailed it out tomorrow I would have it on Monday ( I understand it is the weekend), that would be sufficient to me.

Funny that this is their "policy" when I sold a ball the buyer paid through pay pal, and claimed to never have gotten it.  I didn't have any money in my account, but they gave him his money back and put my account at $-105 or whatever...interesting.

This is all just a shame.....makes it difficult to deal with anyone. I'm glad I have patience and hold people to be GOOD or else I just wouldn't deal anymore. But I have such a good time chatting with fellow bowlers, helping out when possible, and meeting nice new people over the net. Sorry guys just had to get that out of me....lol. Hopefully we will all get what we want!

This is what I got.

We have completed our investigation of this case. We attempted to process a refund from the seller's account to your account. Unfortunately, the seller's account does not contain the funds necessary to cover this refund. We were able to recover $0.00 USD. We have taken action against the seller and are working to recover the remainder of your refund. We will contact you when we have more information. No further action is required of you at this time.

Paypal will not release any private information to anyone so no use in trying that route.. I know, I already tried on the bad deal I had with another loser on here awhile back..

quote:
I emailed Paypal to see if we can get his name and address.  I think if we call call the police where he lives, then the police will investigate.  WE can also call the Attorney General where he lives and they may be able to prosecute.  If anyone has his info, please email it to me.
