Hookmonster has been caught !!!!

Hello Fellow bowlers !!!!!!!!!
I am reporting that Hookmonster aka Bob has been caught and has admitted to stealing and scamming the bowlers here on ballreviews.
I spoke with the Officer in charge of the case tonight and he is going forward and will take the case to the State Attorney's office and will be charge.
I want to thank all the people for the information they forwarded to Mr Jensen and myself to help catch Bob and his girlfriend. Also I found out his brother is part of the ring also. The funny thing about the whole situation,Bob works in a bowling center !!!!!!!!
All but 2 balls have been found and the Officer will contact those to have them returned and the money will be returned also,but he could not tell me when.
I am so glad we caught this person and now he faces the chance of going to jail.

I sent hookmonster aka Meiz 3717 a 4 ball columbia bag and a 75 dollar money order for His supposed NIB Charge Pearl and Eraser Boost.. Then he switched his name to hookmonster.....Glad that f@cker was caught!

Glad to hear the SOB's got caught and I HOPE they get what they have coming.  
I would like to thank BR for having this forum for feedback so everyone can keep tabs on who is trustworthy and who is not.

Even if he only gets probation, he still has his legal fees, court costs, and the stigma of a conviction.  After his arrest he was probably released on $1000 bond.  That cost him at least $100 in bonding fees.  No way the equipment he ripped off will be worth what it cost him.  Hopefully Hammertime can give us the detail of just what it cost this guy, might make some of the other scammers think twice.

If any of you get ripped off, hope you take the same action as Hammer did.  These lowlifes will only get away with stuff if we let them.

If he gets probation, it is still a sanction...and there are a lot of people that screw up even a short period of probation.  In most jurisdictions, probations are still a conviction, which means the little box on the employment applications and background checks has to be marked to show an arrest or conviction.  If presently employed, an arrest or conviction can often be the basis for showing someone the door.  Oh, and the prints will be in the system which means that the record of the arrest would exist basically forever...many prints submitted to the state database also create a record to be maintained in the NCIC database.
