Here's the background: I agreed to a trade with a person here; I shipped my ball on January 5. Here today, Jan 20, no ball, no tracking number. After over a week, after several PMs with no reply, I got a note Tuesday stating that the tracking number would be PM'd to me that night. However, still nothing.

As you can see by my profile, my record is real solid. Not sure about this guy.

Any thoughts? Do I state the name? Not sure if he's just slow, incompetent, or just ripping me off.

Uh, I would say that's plenty of time if the person has not contacted you. You should send another message before you post the name, just as a "last chance" thing so they can't bring that up. But yeah, 15 days after you shipped yours is too long. Hopefully the person is just a poor seller and incredibly lazy, otherwise you've been had.

Yeah.. it kills me that eBay makes you wait a week before you can initiate the non-paying bidder complaint. I think that if you agree to make a deal, you have a couple DAYS (not weeks or months) to take care of your end of business. Because you have received almost no communication, I think you have waited long enough

Yeah I've been made promises too by a member here, for 52 days I've heard the check is in the mail, oops I forgot, I sent it to the wrong address, it was returned and I've resent it to you, the money order got lost in the mail, I'll cancell it and re-send it. yeah I'd like to have my money, will it break the bank, no IT'S THE ENTIRE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER, YOU LIED TO ME, that is what chaps my buttocks. I will post a very negetive topic on the 60th day, which is next week. Nothing like being used, either pay your debt you owe or return the ball undrilled.

one week for a tracking number then I am all over every site that has to do with bowling that I go to splattering their names all over the place....

If someone sells me something that I pay for in 1 or 2 days, unless noted to seller that I may need a few days or a week to come up with the money, they had better be on the ball shipping it....

Also I ask everyone before I commit to buying something if I need some time to come up with the money if they will hold it, if not I see if it is available when I do get the money....

Update: I got a note Monday stating that the ball would be shipped... still no ball. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Wow, this isn't the first time he has been in a bad transaction, fyi i'd search the user feedback forum for threads on anyone you deal with, these things should be avoidable also.

How about an update. After he got flamed on the other deals he was trying to make yesterday he was supposed to send the ball out today and give you a tracking number. Got anything yet.
