Author Topic: TOTAL waste of time.,.. Sorry, rant on.. (Read 2077 times)

I had a user sent me a message 4 or 5 days ago saying they were VERY interested in my NIB 15 pound Momentum Swing but wanted to see pics first. I was not sure why they wanted to see pics of a NIB ball, but I went ahead and snapped a pic of the ball AND original box showing the specs, downloaded them and emailed them. Over the coarse of the next several days, we messaged each other back and forth because he said he was not getting the pics I was sending so I verified the email each time and sent them again 3 or 4 times. I then finally sent them 1 at a time since he had a hotmail email address and thought they might be blocking the emails for some reason.. He then tells me yesterday he finally received the pics but had to check "with his brother real quick".. I then heard nothing back from him for hours so I sent him another message asking whats up.

He finally responds this morning with a response saying his brother had decided to buy the ball at buddies pro shop as they where cheaper.. I went and looked and they ONLY have 4 or 5 14 pound Swings with terrible specs on sale for $5 cheaper than my asking price for a 15 with great specs.. They have NO 15's for that cheaper price..

I know he and his brother can buy from whoever then want but that fiasco was a joke.. If your not a serious buyer, why ask for pics of a NIB ball? I am not out any money, just time.. Very frustrating..

why do you post this ?
general frustration ?

it does none of us other sellers any good by withholding the info.

I mean we all get time wasters, and if it's only about price i for one would like to know who, because if I knew who it was and they responded to one of my FS threads I would just tell them how it is in the real world.

cheap price is one thing, but cheap price w/ service is another imo

pics of a NIB ball c'mon via e-mail

you could have just posted pics on your thread, but not many people do that for NIB balls.

this thread is useless to me if I don't know who it is, and if your just angry about a time waster then post your rant elsewhere imo.

Thanks for the kind words and sorry I wasted your time reading my post..

I see zero reason to include pics of a NIB ball in my post that has no marked mass bias, there is nothing to see.. I had the specs listed already..

I was posting my frustrations in the feedback section where it belongs and said RANT ON..

Once again, sorry to have wasted your time..

this seems to be a re-occuring nightmare for a few of us. I've gone through the same thing many times and still have it happen atleast once a week. Just goes with the territory I guess.

I'll say something politically incorrect. Very often age dependant.

It is the very young guys worried about nickels, dimes and quarters.

Less of this nonsense USUALLY when a little older and have a decent job!

Of course in this economy..

and the beat goes on !!! Add 2 more to the flavor of this topic since Sunday, both were going to buy one on Monday the other yesterday. They have been added to my list of deadbeats. Zero response from either, no messages or read the messages and still can't answer the simple question.

It expecting a simple yes or no to a message too much to ask?? I guess for some people it is.. Its OK to change your mind or if something happens that you can't buy the ball, just keep the seller informed, that's all..
