SUPER HEROâ„¢ features the same symmetric core as found in the original HERO, wrapped with a strong particle coverstock. The combination of the higher RG symmetric core with a strong particle coverstock creates a ball with moderate length and a strong arcing backend reaction.

Lane Conditions

While the SUPERHERO can be sanded or polished for high scores on a wide variety of lane conditions, it is best used on Medium lane conditions based on the factory finish. SUPERHERO will generally roll earlier on most lane conditions and provide a stronger arcing backend reaction than the original HERO. The HERO is still best suited for more medium to dry lane conditions whereas the SUPERHERO is better suited for a medium to heavier medium blends.

All I can say is "What a ball!"  I had gotten a Hero when they first came out and was very happy with it.  When the SuperHero was added to the line, I bought two of them.  Same great core with a light pearl particle cover.  I drilled the first one with a 3" pin on label with the pin at the 2 o'clock position.  The other ball I drilled also with a 3" pin, but this time I put the pin in the center of the grip with the CG at 4:30 and an extra hole 6 3/4" out on the line from the pin through the CG.  This one rolls sooner than the other (which is a more conventional drilling pattern), but makes a very strong move on the back end.  Both balls hit like trucks.  I couldn't be happier with this ball.  I will probably buy two more...

I cannot believe how great of a ball this is!!!!  I bought this ball by recommendation from Paul Nicholas, a member of the Circle staff, and the excellent staff of Bowlers Corner Pro Shop.  I got the ball drilled labelweight so it would go long and turn hard at the back.  I love the consistent reaction I get from this ball because once it maks its turn, it just keeps coming.  Take the info for what you want but I am in a junior traveling league with a 190 average and the first two series I shot with the ball were 651 and 759 with a 279 in the middle.  Both series were at two separate houses.  Great ball Circle!!!  I can't wait to see what comes out next!!!!

I drilled this ball up with the CG 4 1/2 inches from my axis and the pin 4 3/4 inches.

I tested this ball on our normal house shot, which has a high volume of oil. I was not able to swing the Super Hero because of the volume of oil, but was able to go up the lane and play in the dry outside without early hook.

I also tested this ball on our 35 foot sport shot which has a high volume of head oil, but with the shorter pattern, the ball was able to get back to the pocket without a problem. On this shorter pattern, the ball would make a smooth sweeping move to the pocket.

I think this will be a good ball for bowlers that bowl on a drier house shot or someone that needs a ball for drier lanes in tournament.
