Demand some authority on the lanes with the Columbia 300 Authority high performance bowling ball. This features a modified version of the ERT coverstock called the ERT 2.0 Pearl coverstock. The original ERT coverstock was used on the popular Baller but additives were used to create more down-lane motion in this version. This ball introduces the Authority core which is asymmetric and changes directions quickly when confronted with friction.

To paraphrase #Cartman, you're going to learn to respect the #Authority as Lane Side Reviews takes the newest from Columbia 300 to the lanes!

The Columbia 300 Authority is the first of two Columbia releases under the Brunswick family. I will tell you I was unsure what to expect but I am very pleased with this ball. The Authority gives me the control and length I have come to expect with C300 products with a very strong back end ball motion. I used a 70x4x30 layout to tame the back end just slightly and love the combination of control and power that the Authority gives me

The Authority utilizes a brand-new asymmetric core shape that enables the Authority to change directions harder when it encounters friction and boy does it ever.  The C300 Authority has provided me with strong and more continuous down-lane response.

My initial review on the house conditions in one word was "awesome".  The ball was very strong and continuous as expected and carry was tremendous.  I then used the Authority on a couple different Challenge Patterns and quickly became impressed with shape I was seeing.   I then became curious to see the shape and motion with some surface on the ball, so I touched it with a 3000 pad to break the finish.  I saw more read in the mid lane and still had the same strong and continuous down lane response.  If you are looking for a strong asymmetrical pearl with versatility the Authority is for you.  Visit your local Pro Shop Operator and get yours now!!!!

The new Authority is really something special.  One of two new releases by C300, the power and pin action of the AUTHORITY was beyond compare so much so that it felt like you could strike forever. Now we know this isn't true but my experience with this ball and it's updated ERT cover and new asymmetric core left me with that impression.  The only thing that stopped the AUTHORITY was a virus.  So stay safe everyone and when we get back to doing what we do, stop by your local Pro Shop and get one.
