COMMENTS

So far, I am impressed with the C300 Impulse. New core / cover combo along with the Hypershock technology from the upper performance line, the Impulse is a little stronger than advertised. I drilled this ball to be long and smooth off the spot, yet this ball is quite angular still with this layout. Very clean through the fronts and offers a strong backend finish that is PERFECT for the transition games in tournament or after THS breaks down. I have had a few different styles of bowlers throw my Impulse and each style loved the way this ball gets down the lane with ease and offers a strong backend motion that does not stop. I could keep moving left as the lanes dried out and this ball keeps turning the corner. This is a different motion than what most Columbia 300 balls have and I think this is a great ball for the medium lane patterns. The hybrid coverstock, really blends the pattern out for this ball and offers a strong backend motion that I think a lot of bowlers will definitely love to see / have in their bag.

I think this ball will be a must have ball for those that are looking for something offers a great motion that does not stop rolling in the backend – it really continues through the pin deck! Very versatile ball… You will be impressed!

I just got mine punched, and tried it out on our ths last night, I had mine drilled pin above
the ring finger, with cg stacked with the pin.  I am a slow speed, avg revs bowler, I like to go down and in.  This ball gets thru the heads really well, and once it hit the breakpoint it turned left hard.  I couldn't go down and in, I had to play inside and swing it out to 10, and that's not in my comfort zone, but this ball just continued to turn.  Really like this ball a lot.

What a pleasant surprise this ball turned out to be.  Not that I thought it would be "bad', so to speak, but I just wasn't overly sure about it ... but man am I glad I drilled this one!

Very clean and easy to get through the fronts, but when I need something later in the day to get move inside with that I have confidence will hook back from the dry, this is my ball of choice now.

Easily my favorite league pattern ball at the moment.   The colors make it stand out but just sit back and watch it go through the pins a few times and you'll be sold

This ball has Hypershock tech. Need I say more? This ball is really smooth through the front and drives hard on the backend. Right out of the box I shoot 279 with it. For league this is my benchmark ball. IF you have a EBI demo day around you, This ball is worth a test drive

For those of you who loved the Pulse back in the day the Impulse is a ball for you.  The similar color and logo design will bring you back to when the Pulse was a popular ball in the late 1990's.  The updated Impulse has a Hybrid coverstock and comes out of box 500/1000 Polished.  I drilled mine with a different layout for me personally 45x3 3/8x70 to try and gain max flare.  The ball is very smooth and gets down the lane well.  I have found best results playing up the boards as I have seen when I move inside the ball hits a bit flat.  When playing straight I seem to get better drive through the pins.  The ball is great as the lanes start to transition and the oil starts to break down.  Best results for me came games 2/3 on typical house shots.  I wouldn't recommend this ball for larger volumes of oil but on a typical recreation shot this ball works well.  Not the first ball out of the bag but great for dryer lane conditions.  For more information please visit www.columbia300.com
