This is a great ball for oil. Its very predictable, a great rolling ball and does not quit You don't want to miss out of this ball for sure! Go to your local ProShop and get one now! i have mine drilled 65x5x45. we do not have a lot of oil thru the front part of the lanes at our house but i have no issued getting this ball to get down the lane and retain energy. it picks up in the mids and gives me a strong continuous arc.

The N'SANE has a little bit of a different core in it compared to other balls in the ANTICS line, and I can really see a GOOD difference in ball motion for me. We lowered the differential to store energy longer for more downlane motion, which has improved my opportunties to strike. Anyone that knows my game, knows that strong asymmetrical balls don't stay in my bag for very long. The N'S@NE ANTICS already has a GUARANTEED spot for my next tournaments.

This is definitely my favorite of the three new HP balls from Columbia 300. The modified Hi-Dynamix helps this ball get downlane cleaner and hit harder than the previous two Antics. The motion is very predictable but doesn't sacrifice hitting power at all. It reminds me a lot of the Full Swing C300 produced a few years back, not quite as sharp at the breakpoint, but hits like a tank! I really thought that this ball might go a little too long with the factory polish but I was pleasantly surprised at just how much motion I get out of this ball with the factory surface. I drilled mine pin up over the finger with the mass bias just right of my thumb. I believe the drilling was 55 x 5 1/4" x 35. Normally this is the only drilling I use for asymmetric balls because I really don't use them much unless its a total flood or I have to get way left, but I believe this ball is something I can regularly throw on league night as well! Very good new product from Columbia 300, I look for this to be amongst the favorites of league and tournament bowlers this year!

I'm happy to let you in on this N'S@ne mind blowing news. Columbia 300 was Crazy but now they are just down right N'S@ne since the release of the N'S@ne Antics. The N'S@ne Antics is complimentary to the Crazy Antics, the difference is the N'S@ne has a solid cover and they have lowered the differential which makes the ball cleaner ans smoother through the front part of the lane. This means that the ball may allow you in some situations to play straighter and have the continuous curve you saw with the Crazy Antics.

The N’S@ne Antics is the latest High Performance bowling ball to be released by Columbia 300. The ball features a nice blend of colors. The white, azure, and crimson colors blend together very well while going down the lane, making the ability to read the ball much easier than other brightly colored bowling balls I have used in the past. This is a huge plus and I give my credit to everyone who helped designed this ball for not only giving this ball colors that stand out, but also blend together when rolling down the lane.

The N’S@ane Antics uses the same core shape as its predecessors but has different core densities which lowered the core’s differential. This allows the ball to store more energy.  Seeing this lower differential, I decided to drill this ball like my Eruption Pro. I have had a lot of success with the Eruption Pro, so it was a very easy decision to drill this ball just like that. That layout consists of the pin being 5” from my axis, pin 2” from VAL, and a small balance hole on my axis point. This puts the pin up high above my ring finger, mass bias is located just right and above my thumb hole. The ball is very clean through the front part of the lane with a strong continuous motion in the backend. When I first used the ball, it was a little too hard of the spot for my liking. I used a 2000 Abralon pad by hand to smooth out the motion and now it is perfect.  This ball rolls great, and gives me a stronger core and cover stock combination to use with this layout, which is something that I’ve been wanting to add to my arsenal.

The N’S@ne Antics, for me, succeeds more on medium volumes of oil as well as during lane transition. With a stronger layout, or more surface, this ball would do well on fresher patterns, as well as patterns with more volume. This ball will work for a vast amount of bowlers, and can be drilled with various patterns to match up for any kind of conditions. Stop by your local pro shop and pick one up, you won’t be disappointed!

Volume: THS-25 ML :  Hybrid- 27ML
Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):

COMMENTS

Drill:  35 x 4.5 x 50  Wt hole on PAP

Likes: Clean through the fronts on both patterns with a medium-strong move off the dry. Later than the Antics by approx. 3 ft but earlier than the Crazy Antics. I had very good carry on both patterns. For my style, this ball still needs some dry
to make the turn. In my hands this is not a "big boomer" ball that I can pitch to the right and expect a hockey-stick look, especially with this drilling.  The closest balls
for that kind of look for me were the Vow and the Eruption. None of Columbia's releases (since the Vow), have been able to replicate that kind of "look" for me.
However, with the N'Sane, I have a ball that combines the best of both worlds---
predictable control and excellent pin carry. Nothing loosens up an armswing more  when you get a reaction like this.

Dislikes: Absolutely none.

Everyone has that one ball they grab first out of their bag to use no matter what condition you are bowling on.  For me that ball is the N'S@ane Antics.  This ball is amazing and gets down the lane super smooth and hits very hard.  I drilled mine Pin Up between the fingers straight down the label.  I can play in or out and still get the same smooth reaction from this ball.  Heavy or light oil I can still use this piece on different parts of the lane.  My personal favorite ball right now from C300.  For more info go to www.columbia300.com or contact me with any questions.

This ball is pretty much my go to ball for anything except extreme wet or extreme dry. I have two N'Sane Antics drilled identically, with two different surfaces. They are both drilled 50x6x50, one being 1000 abralon, the other being 2000/polished. The ball is super clean through the front part of the lane. Where this ball is different than other balls for me, is that it does check in the mids, but it doesn't seem to slow down very much during that transition. It starts to make its move, and continues VERY nicely all the way through the pins. No hook/stop motion. Really a perfect ball for medium patterns/THS.
