The Loud Noize from Columbia 300 is a mid-priced ball that provides great length and solid turn on the backend of the lane. The Loud Noize is the perfect complement to the original Noize. These two balls together will cover a wide range of performance at a value price. With this product intro, we are featuring the first introduction of the Pearl New Era Reactive shell wrapped around an always solid performing TI Boss core.

Drilled this ball earlier today 5x5 with no hole. Condition was house pattern post one league shift. Unfortunately I did not have any other balls with me to compare. However, this ball was the most angular of any of the TiBoss core balls I have thrown including the Wrath line.

Compared to the Wrath Dead Flush the Loud Noize will skid an extra 5 feet but corner much harder than the Dead Flush. The motion of the ball reminds me a lot of Storm's T Road or Hammer's Raw Toxic. The carry was incredible, the pins stayed noticeably low.

If your looking for a very skid flippy type of ball reaction this is the ball for you. On the right type of house pattern you will strike forever.

I will post further comments when I have used the ball on more different types of conditions. Look for my comments on the Momentum Swing and Perfect Rival real soon.

Ball Specs
The ball being drilled was a 3” pin out with 3.00 oz top weight.
Drilling: Pin 4" from PAP and Mb 45 degrees from PAP, Val line 30 degrees from my PAP. Pin is above ring finger. Weight Hole on my axis. Factory Polished initially then sanded to 4000 Abralon Pad.

Bowler Information:
Track diameter is 10 1/2.
PAP is measured at 5 1/4 over and 3/8" up.
Average ball speed (foul line to head pin) is 16 mph.
Axis rotation is typically 90 degrees
Initial rev rate is typically 300 rpm, "Tweener"
Lane Condition and Pattern:
Bowlero Lanes, HPL 9000 Panel. Oil Pattern: THS condition medium oil outsides, heavier oil inside, semi clean backends.

Review:
Out of the box, the ball reminded me of my Ti Boss 2 Purple Columbia ball from years ago, very clean through the fronts with a strong but smooth motion on the backs, this is a great ball when they break down and you have to play a inside angle looking for recovery on the back ends. Fresh conditions unless you have alot of hand, the ball will labor in the heavy oil line. I took the ball down to 4000 abralon, for me at this grit, I love the reaction, I can use it on a fresh pattern and now I don't get the excessive squirt in the oil but I can still use it from a inside angle and still get the recovery to carry when they break down and dry up. The ball has the hard hit that I remember from the old days of the original Ti-Boss when Columbia made the balls in San Antonio TX. Hook Rating from 1-10 a 6, back end reaction a 8 at 4000 abralon. Reminds me very much of the Original The One made by Ebonite. Thanks for reading my review.

Just got around to drilling my Loud Noize last week.  A bit about myself.  Little bit than higher ball speed. (17-18 MPH) Rev Rate is probably in the 350-400 range.  Mainly drilled the ball for the shorter PBA patterns (Cheetah, Viper)  Placed the pin 4" from my PAP (axis points are 4 1/2 x 3/4) so the ball would be a bit smoother out of the pattern.  The ball clears the front really good, picks up the midlane well and is not super snappy off the back.  It worked really good on the house pattern which is about 40'.  So far, so good.  Looking forward to drilling a cool noize this week sometime.

Surface: oob/ 1000, 2000 light with polish.

I got a deal on this ball NIB, and i really needed a lower end pearl. I matched up well with the old Boss balls back in the late 90's so i was excited to see how this ball rolled.

What i got: OOB i struggled with this ball. I held out changing the surface thinking maybe it needed more friction than i was bowling on. Finally, i hit it with 1000 abralon, then lightly with 2000 then Powerhouse polish. This made a world of difference for this ball. After the surface change this ball matches up well for me on broken down house shots, as well as those houses that have extreme friction outside of 5. With this drilling and surface the ball reads the midlane well with almost a snappy reaction on the back.

What im impressed with more than anything is the versatility it has. On fresh, it gives me the option of squaring up and playing straighter, as well as being the piece i go to when the heads are fried and i need something more on the backend from deeper angles.

I think for most bowlers this ball will be that drier piece thats a little stronger than say Tropical Storms, C300 Jazz's and so on. I think the straighter players will like the pop this ball can give them on the back. The crankers like myself will really like the versatility and options this ball gives them. Tweeners will see a ball that they can stay with for longer times without having to make big moves.

Overall this is a great med/dryer lane ball. The core in this ball was top of the line about 8-10 years ago. The updated cover really matches up with the older core. I really like the idea of using older cores with updated covers to fill the lower end lines,I wish more companies would do this. The idea of me matching up to this core some time back really made my mind up on this piece for me. I highly recommend this ball for bowlers looking for that drier lane ball.
