Action

You asked for it. We took action. Introducing the new Action from Columbia 300. The perfect mix of low RG and high differential, symmetric simplicity in the core and our powerful M-80 reactive coverstock. It''s a potent combination that gives you the fast-revving, versatile "go-to" ball you''ve been looking for.

But the Action is much more than a ball. It''s the continued commitment to all the passion that has kept the Columbia 300 brand in the winner''s circle for more than six generations. The sport of bowling is changing and we''re changing with it - but we''ll never change our core values.

I got his ball free so I never liked it untill i put a polish on it.
This Ball hooks more and more! I have to polish this ball to 3000 before it will do anything! OOB is just weired No Hook in Oil and Hooks too much when is Dry. But After polishing it start to be a hook monster. This ball is as strong as the delta1. I had this ball drilled 5x4 and still hook like crazy. Shoot 237,237,237 for a 711

Hardest hitting dull ball I've ever owned except when the heads are slightly burnt then it hits like any other dull top of the line turd.

Head oil to the Action is like the Sun to Superman, like Snickers to booger scratchers, like the dark lord's approval to politicians.  In head oil the Action becomes a BEAST!!! No the the Columbia Beast; a beast like it Roars and you step back a little.  I don't usually use dull equipment but I fear I may lose a great piece for oil if I shine it.

Drilled:
5.5 x 3
Pin below and between fingers

Don't know much about ball drillings and I am left handed. Ball out of box 3-4 pin out and 1 3/4oz. Top weight.  Ball drilled with pin at 10:30 position.  Ball rolled out badly.  Polished it two times to get ball down the lane.  Hit with no power.  Local pro Aberloned with 2000.  WOW. Awesome now.  Now ball goes through the heads real clean.  Very smooth move to the pocket with lots of DRIVE and good carry.  1st game 279 left 7-pin in eighth frane.  Fresh oil on syntheic lanes.    Moved to lane with carrydown.  Came back with 227 even with carrydown ball hit with lots of power and drive.  LOVE IT NOW.

I'd give this ball 9 out of 10. The Action can out hook my Black Widow. Hits pretty hard. Leaves a few more ten pins than my Black Widow does. I use this ball on synthetic and wood lanes. The ball curves more on the synthetic lanes than the wood lanes. Make sure you keep this ball outside of third arrow. This is a really great ball if your looking for something that curves about two or three boards more than the Black Widow.
