U Turn
The U-Turn combines a medium RG core (2.49) with our proven Super-Flex coverstock to give you the right combination for medium to dry lanes. This mid-price ball gives you just the right amount of length through drying heads and the backend reaction that will leave you speechless. Don't take your eyes off this one...it's so strong on the backend it just might do a U-Turn!

I drilled the U-Turn up with a 5" pin above my ring finger, and the CG stable by the midline. I left the finish at box, because of my prior likings of the SuperFlex cover. I threw this ball first on a house-shot, moving 8 right with my feet and 2 with my eyes. This ball gets through the heads great and "Turns" left at the end of the pattern. Usually for me with a length layout, I have a problem with speed control, but this ball is versitle enough to allow me that occasional MPH error. This ball reigns when the heads toast up a bit, and the backends have moderate-light carry down. Or just perfect with a medium house-shot.

Specs:
15.30lbs
4 inch pin
3oz top
Layout:
5.5 x 5
Pin over bridge
Cg kicked out 2.5 inches
X-hole 6.5 inches from center of span
This particular ball to me was like a pearlized Detour. It get down the lane with ease and when it hits friction it really turns over. A top hat shot works great for this ball until the heads start to fry up. It keeps the pins low and hit's like a truck. On carrydown i would say to put it away. The ball will hit weak. I am not kidding. The ball will be turning but on impact the result ain't appealing. Flat 10's, and etc... Other than that the ball is great. I've tried it on a couple of different pattern and should be a ball when you go to tournaments. If you liked the Detour or Formula, you will like the Pearl.

I bought this ball due to my hard times when the lanes dry out. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Layout is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2; pin under bridge. The layout gives me an amazing slide through any dryness in the heads or mid lane with a tame backend arc. I bought this for dry lanes, but I have found out that this ball is an excellent choice when the lanes have me confused. Many of times I have been able to pick this ball up and move 15 boards right and smash the pocket. Not only is this a go-to ball, but the U-Turn Reactive is quite possibly the hardest hitting ball I have ever seen. On light hits I have messengers clearing out the 2-pin, and when I hit the pocket I get the head pin screaming across after the 10-pin just incase it is still standing. I recommend this ball for any style player and for any lane condition out there.

Bought this ball about a week ago and love it. It reminds me of equipment from the mid to late 90's. I have mine with a 3" pin, located about an inch above my ring finger...drilled over the label. The ball is extremely clean through the front and turns hard on the back. Used it on both synthetic and wood...great ball!

This is one of the most powerfull bowling balls that I have ever thrown. It hits harder than a ton of bricks. I thought for a while that it was going to be to aggresive but after puting a polish on the ball. It really started working really good. So if any person is looking for a fairly aggresive ball that hits really hard the U-Turn is for you.

All i have to say is that this ball.....SUCKS. I have had it for a couple months and cant do crap with it.But.....it works very well on a sport shot, but i dont usually bowl on those so it serves no purpose. IT hooks a bunch and hits like a twinkie.

Bought this ball over a year ago, threw 6 games with it and absolutely hated the reaction I got with it and hadn't used it since. I moved recenlty and decided to give it another chance. Went 757, 683, 651, 738 and have been absolutely dominating my league. Have it laid out pin above the fingers and label in my palm. I can pull it and it'll hold or let it out a few boards wide and it comes screaming back. Absolutley destroys the pins and leave very few 10 pins with it. I'm a Lane 1 junkie but this ball is becoming my all-time favorite. For the $120 (w/ drilling) I paid for it it's a great deal.
