Any thoughts/Comments on WOW Pearl?
« on: August 01, 2005, 12:17:34 PM »
Just wondering?  I stumbled across a great deal for this ball NIB.  Only 1 or 2 reviews have been helpful, but I was wondering although it is a "Pearl" with a sheen finish, how much oil can it handle down the lane and how aggressive is it in comparison to some newer offerings?

I have one...have had a big set or two with it!

Most similar to the Icon 2 for me.

Lots of lenght for a particle with a sharpter backend move.

I use in tandem with my Icon.  When Icon runs out of energy I often could switch to this sharp backend tool and push the ball slightly more down the alley and then drive hard.

Oh it's got pearl on it?  Haven't really figured out where!

Good and also ugly this gem! More backend than the Formula and similar also to teh aMF extra!  Sharp at back!

Sold a few, we didn't see the big backend others have, but a nice late mid-lane move and decent continuation at the deck. Couple oe teammates have these and both bought Morich Ravages. They say the Ravage gives them about 4-5 boards more hook throughout. Decent piece if the price is right will fit into just about anyones bag. Did see it lose a lot of pop on light oil for the one gent who was a low speed and low rev guy.

i too LOVED the ball.. I had it pin above bridge and ball worked great on sport shots and track area. it could be a little jumpy when i really tried to put some hand in it.
