my first ball was a 14 lb pearl super beast
I'm wondering if that ball had a real core in it or not. anybody know?
-
It has a light bulb style core. I used a Super Beast for a long time, and had my first 300 with that ball.

did the 14 pounds have the same core as the heavier balls though?

I found it after some searching
http://www.columbia300.net/gear/balls.cfm?bid=115
it says
(14lbs - 16lbs) - Single density light bulb shape with Titanium core.
so I guess it did have a real core, I remember the pin was right in the middle of my grip and I don't remember any cg marking. that just means the pin wasnt offset any I guess?
I liked the reaction of that ball though.
is having the pin that low bad?
