Resurgence

I was looking in picking up a ball for heavy oiled lanes or double oiled heads.  By saying this, the Resurgence was one of the two balls I was looking at, the Fury was the other.  So, before I do anything, can someone provide some opinions on this balls?  I bought and EPX a few years back and at first, it was the biggest moving ball I ever had, then I had to deal with the cleaning dilemma.  After saying this, it cracked after about 35 games.  So, as you can see, I'm willing to give Columbia another chance.

If there are any other balls, that move more than the two above, let me know.  I'm looking for something for heavy oil, excessive head oil and carry down.

You guys all keep naming balls that out hook other balls. Keep in mind that some of the stuff you name that can out hook the Resurgence is asymmetrical. For a Symmetrical ball there is no stronger reactive ball then the Resurgence. You may probly find stronger in a particle ball but you would have to go to a company like Brunswick with there Mammoth, or Lane Masters and there Terminator. The fact is right now on the market the strongest reactive symmetrical ball is the Resurgence. Notice the key words in that statement like Symmetrical and reactive. Particle balls (none pearls) will tend to roll quicker meaning a better traction in oil. Keep this all in mind, along with putting the hook from an aysmmetrical ball up aginst a symmetrical. With something like the Awsome Hook, you have the strength of the High MB to help tune your reaction off the break point along with where your breakpoint will be.

That is a very good definition for the bowlers here to help them understand what the Resurgence is all about.
There are some that just don't look at the whole scenario like you put it.

I don't have the Resurgence, but I do have the new Columbia Rival (a little weaker than the Resurgence) and the Fury.

I find my Rival about 5 boards stronger than the Fury. Despite all the hype about the Fury being a heavy oiler, it's not. It's a decent medium oil ball with the right surface, but probably not what you're looking for.

Go with the Resurgence.
