New version of the Resurgence?
« on: December 19, 2009, 10:41:45 PM »
Has anyone heard about the latest version of the swing line being extremely similar to the RESURGENCE?

Will have to run out and buy one if that is the case.

Otherwise will be looking forward to the reintroduction of that reproduction run in a few years.

The last time I talked to Chris, he had 2 or 3 cases of NIB Resurgence locked awy for a rainy day!!

quote:
Is it going to be a ball made for Chris barnes since that was his favorite? Not uncommon for pro's to ask for old balls to be placed back in Temporary production is it?

I could see where a few might think the Pure Swing was similar to the Resurgence in that if you viewed the World Championship's last week.  Mr. Smallwood's Pure Swing started up way earlier than Mr. Mallot's Invasion or Cell Pearl.  From that perspective and none other because the Pure Swing's numbers are quite different.

Not sure but Smallwood's Pure Swing seemed to also have a matte look to it....but do Mallot's Invasion.

I don't think anything in C300's current lineup is comparable to the Resurgence or Momentum.  These balls are more about early roll and continuation, the newer stuff has significantly more backend and start up later.  And quite frankly, the newer stuff is matching up better on the league and PBA Experience for me.
