I have sold a few to people. As I am told it works pretty well. I have not used it myself, but I've sold a couple in here and several online to people with no one telling me it's a "load of cr*p", that's all I can tell you.

Looked through the PDF file and did a few Google searches. Apparently CPR is formulated on the same principle as some facial products. The stuff is full of synthetic polymers which absorb oil and dirt leaving the surface on which it is applied with a oil-free matte finish.

C300 recommends one hour treatments with CPR. That certainly seems more effective than Ebonite's 24 hour Hook Again treatment. Anybody here had a chance to compare the effectiveness of these two products?

I have used hook again on several balls, and it works great. The problem is the dust is very harsh and it takes 24hrs. CPR seems to work faster, does anyone know how much it costs?

Make sure you wear safety goggles when using this stuff, it sounds like if it gets in your eyes it could be very painful or worse.

I have had similar experiences of Hook Again. It works fine but it is a mess to deal with. CPR seems simpler.

I got some from azguy (good guy!) for $7 each (bag and polymer) plus shipping.
Certainly cheap enough.

I'm tempted to try mine on a ball AFTER I sand it to 400/320 grit with Clean and Dull first, in order to do a "proper" job. I should do it with CPR after sanding to 400/320 grit to see how it works on its lonesome. Not sure how I'll proceed. will report AFTER I use the ball.

I always sand the ball down to 320 before putting it in the hook again, it seems to open the pores and allow the Hook Again to work better.

Post again after you use it I am interested to see if CPR is better, it is definitely cheaper.

I do not want anyone to be misled by charlest's post. He bought the CPR when it was a promo thing. I got it cheap, sold to him cheap. The promo is well gone, thus the price went up. Please do not be misled by his post of cost.

I just wanted to post this to make anyone well aware of the cost difference no matter where you get it from.

We've treated a few balls with the CPR, it definately doesn't take ALL the oil out of a ball.

So far, not impressed, especially with the cost of the treatment.

To answer Mr Lefty's question..I sell them for $12.00 plus shipping. I usually ship USPS Priortity Mail at $3.85. $15.85 for one, $27.85 for two.
