« on: February 01, 2005, 01:34:17 PM »
For those of you who have thrown both, what are the main differences between these two balls? I basically want to know about overall strength of hook and the shape of the hook. lmk please.

So Jeff, you'd say the Bully line reacts more like a pure symmetrical ball?

I have thrown both balls and for my style, the backyard bully just works bettter for me. The xception was always a bit tough for me to read on some lane conditions and the backyard bully is very easy to read and very smooth all the way doen the lane. The first 12 games I used it, I averaged 230+ with 3 270 games..

By the way, I ended up selling the xception, its a good ball, just didn't match up well for me..

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)
