Crazy Antics vs Take Down
« on: January 22, 2014, 03:21:35 PM »
Hello guys! What differences do you see with these two balls? I currently have the Smackdown, Takedown, Eruption Pro and Freeze Hybrid. Would the Crazy Antics be the compliment of the Takedown where its long and angular compared to the Takedown that is long but has an angular arc. I am trying to figure out from reading the reviews if the Crazy Antics fits with the Takes down or does it fit above the Smackdown. Please let me know what your opinion is.

For me the Takedown with a 4.5" pin up drilling is a little more midlane than the CA out of box with its 4.25" pin up drilling.
Crazy A gets longer than the Takedown and the TD handles carry down out of box.

Smackdown is all around stronger and I use it early with 4.5" pin down drilling.

I use them SD for oil at 2K new abralon pad and when it goes away I will most of the time look to the TD and then the CA. But it really depends on the lane condition and how many bowlers are on the pair. SO yes the CA and TD will play well with each other, and all three together will too. Hope this helps..

JamminJD: Thanks for the response. I am still getting use to the balls. The Smackdown does need oil or else it rolls out. The Takedown so far is nice but it needs oil too. I just put some polish on it so i am going to try it out. I like the length and shape it has. The Eruption Pro still rolls early a little due to the low rg it has but it does have some pop. I just redid the surface from 500 - 1000 - 2000 with polish. I hope it blends the pattern out a little more and gets through the front. My next two balls i might try will be the Oath to really handle some oil to fit on top of my Smackdown and maybe a Vow or Crazy Antics to fit below the Takedown.
