Title: Above the Arch Rival
Post by: thedjs on June 16, 2009, 06:48:13 AM
Presently I have a Resurgence, Arch Rival and Messenger Ti Pearl (black & gold).

From a previous post it looks like a Loud or Cool Noize would be a good choice to replace the Ti Pearl.  Since I never run into enough oil to use the Resurgence, I would like to replace it with something that will handle some oil and be a little stronger than my Arch Rival.  I can get a good deal on a Momentum but don't know where that would fit.

Any help would be appreciated.

the new freeze will use the ti core and the momentum cover.

I would say loud noize to replace the ti and powerswing to go above the arch

The Loud Noize would be the ball to get for under your Arch Rival.  The Cool Noize would fit too but that's pretty strong.  For a ball over your Arch Rival, I'd look into the Power Swing or original Noize.

Power Swing would definitely be a great fit for a slightly longer roll that can still handle some oil. And I think the Loud Noize would be a great fit under the Arch Rival. Good luck

I'd give the Noize a try.  If it's too aggressive, just tame the coverstock a little.  I'd probably just hit it with 4000 abralon and skip the polish.  I think that would give you a great control ball.

You might even consider just taming your Resurgence.  Perhaps a worn 2000 abralon and some polish?
