EPX T1 Maintenance Question
« on: April 03, 2006, 02:18:05 AM »
I have been cleaning my EPX T1 with Track Clean 'N Dull and then following-up with a hot water bath after every 3 game set.  Is this safe to do?  I'm worried that if I don't clean and bathe it after every night of bowling, the ball will die.  Does anyone else give it a hot water bath after each set?

Funny thing about the hot water bath is that the ball never comes out the same color twice. Do you experience the same thing?

Yeah, mine does the same thing after giving it a hot water bath.  Different areas of the ball will be lighter or darker.

I dont use Clean and Dull at all. Pick up a bottle of Columbia CPR and mix some of it up in the hot water when you give the EPX its bath. Ball comes out much tackier and it rejuvenates the cover.

At $15 a pop for the CPR I think I will wait until I have more games on it.
