Title: Anybody throwing the Noize?
Post by: agroves on September 22, 2008, 02:22:44 AM
Looking for info on the Noize.  The wife is looking for something fairly aggressive, we've narrowed it down to the Gamebreaker, Noize, Momentum Swing and Anger.

Her specs:
Stroker
~250rpm
Moderate tilt and axis rotation
Medium speed
avg 215

• Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

I thrown the swing and noize.. The noize was earlier and smoother the swing was harder off the  spot. Same drilling on both and they both had the oob cover. but i'm curious what the nozie will do when it's polished?? It may be very comparable to the swing then

How much oil will each handle?

For the price, The Noize is going to be hard to beat.. It will not handle floods but will handle a fair amount of oil..

I LOVE the NOIZE it is the first ball out of my bag, took it to 1000 abralon though, for me I didn't need it to be turning the corner early, with the shine from the abralon pads, it gives me the length I wanted and the kick. GREAT BALL

Med to heavy.. I have a good amount of hand and I can get both to move in very heavy oil. but in my opinion neither are as strong as the resurgence

I have one...

Pin in ring finger (about 4.5" from PAP)

Looked rougher than 1000 OOB and after not having enough oil in the correct area of the lane last Wednesday I've since changed the surface.

I've used it on ProAnvilane and AMF HPL.

At the OOB finish this cover and layout needs medium oil to retain energy.

Changed the surface with a light dose of Storm Step #2 over gray scotchbrite and it seems to be retaining energy for a strong move to the pocket much better now on less than medium oil.

I have pushed mine to 2k and love it pin high and right of ring finger.  OOB it would burn up on me and leave corner pins everywhere.  Now it has ridiculous carry.  I think the swing is harder off the break but not by much.  The Noize depending on speed and revs can cover all but the greatest flood.

i have a noize and it gets downlane well and a nice smooth roll to it.

i have mine at 4 1/2" pin up, 45*, 2k abralon

i am going to see what it will do with 2k abralon and black magic polish on it.

from what i have seen on the swing so far, that ball is just sick off the spot!!
it really jumps and i am very impressed. may be drilling one up soon!

may go with a 4 1/2" pin up, 70-75*, and leave it at 2k abralon as well. figure when the noize starts to burn too soon or hit weak, the swing will give me the pop i need.

just had a "noize" punched up  on 9/12/08.   dont have exact specs, but i know its drilled more for a max back end,( i think its 3 1/2 x3 1/2 but ill have to check)drilled with fingers over pin  and slightly moved left, I also have a balance hole.   im still getting used to this ball, does hit hard, but i have been leaving  alot of 10's.  i have not changed the oob condition,  i'm wondering if i go to 2k abralon if it will help. but i do like the way the ball rolls. ill try to  get the exact specs.

Mine is rico drilled and oob and it handles a nice amount of oil, have swing and it drilled with pin over ring finger cg kicked out, the swing is much flippier of the spot, the noize is much smoother off the spot.
