Title: Anyone some info about Meesenger Black Solid?
Post by: Hungrytobowl on January 10, 2010, 06:20:41 PM
Hello Evereybody,

with all the urethane hype nowadays, I remember not long ago Columbia produced a Messenger Black ball with Urethane cover. Does anyone still have it? How does it compare to the balls produced today like the Natural for example?

Thanx

It might really compare favorably to the Urethane Hype from AMF that is being poured in the same facility that I would presume the Black Messenger was poured in.  The cover could be the same BUD II urethane that has been said to be on the Hype.

Core numbers are a little different...

Assuming the Black Messenger had the same core as the Cherry and Blue Messenger it would have an RG of 2.577 and a differential of 0.047

The Hype is at an RG of 2.54 and a differential of 0.051
