Action Attack

Just received this ball from Columbia300:

Drilled this ball identical to my Action Max, Pin below ring finger, and CG kicked out to the right correction hole needed to adjust it.

Ball reacts a lot like the Action Max, almost too much like it. Was hoping for a little more pop on the back end, but, all it seems to do is get about 5 feet more on length, with out the more pop. I think I will scuff it up a little, and see what that does. Will let you know how this works.

Try taking it down to 2000 abralon, I did this to mine and its reaction is quite a bit stronger. 3000 Tech shine is a new cover prep for C300 and don't think it was meant for any kind of heavy volume of oil.

Would u compare the type of reaction somewhat close to what people are saying about the Radical Inferno?

I was looking into getting one, but if it's like that...I'll pass.

For me the Attack fits above the AP and below the AM. It has the length of the AP and the hard strong arc on the backend of the AM. The AP was snappy for me, creating some over/under at times and the AM has the hard arc, but not the length that one might need.

I can cover more boards with the Attack than I have been able to with any of the other Actions. The Attack revs throughout the entire lane.

Ok well dale, maybe you should redrill the attack and lay something that will give it more lenth. I mean pin under ring finger on any symetrical ball will make it want to roll sooner then it would if you would have gone say pin above bridge or over middle finger. I am sure it is still a great ball, but just wanted to know if you have thought about plugging and redrilling it to maybe get the reaction you wanted.

Is that a 5-6" pin?

Hey guys, I purchased the ACTION ATTACK today but haven't tried bowling with it yet. Comparing this with the ACTION which one do you guys think is better? I had my ACTION drilled finger weight and its pretty strong from the back end more so in the front when the lanes dries up at front.  

My question is If both balls are drilled stacked leverage which one do you will hook more?

Here's my line up now, tell me if you think this would be a great ball line up:

EPX (stacked) - heavy oil(flooded)
ACTION ATTACK (stacked) - heavy oil
ACTION (finger weight) med - heavy(?)
PARTICLE U-TURN (finger and top) med-dry

RED PULSE - is it a good idea to drill this ball to zero for dry? just have to ask

You totally misconcieved what he said. Average Bowler is not a staff member, I think he tried to reply with quote, and removed his message and forgot to erase the above's signature.

He was talking about his own drilling, you might want to go back to school and learn how to spell and type if you want to be critical.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to be a Columbia Staff.  I wasn't sure what BrunsDustin was talking about that's why I didn't say anything until now when someone said something. I was just pointing things out with my equipment since JUSTDALE and I are using COLUMBIA equipment.
